Mimi Wong writes about art, culture, and literature. Her work has appeared in The Believer, Electric Literature, Hyperallergic, Joyland Magazine, Literary Hub, The Margins, and was anthologized in Best! Letters from Asian Americans in the Arts (Paper Monument/n+1). For her writing on contemporary art by Asian diasporic artists, she was awarded The Andy Warhol Foundation Arts Writers Grant and a grant from Critical Minded for Cultural Critics from Underrepresented Communities. She is Editor-in-Chief of The Offing, winner of a Whiting Literary Magazine Prize, and teaches at Parsons School of Design/The New School. She lives in New York.
